Permissionless Design Philosophy

Open Participation Model

Dill's permissionless design allows anyone to become a validator without central authority approval, participate in consensus decisions, access network services freely, and contribute to governance through stake-weighted voting. This approach removes barriers to entry and ensures the network remains resistant to centralized control or censorship.

The network's most remarkable capability is supporting up to one million validators, dramatically enhancing security through unprecedented decentralization. This massive validator capacity creates enhanced attack resistance through validator diversity while ensuring no single entity can control network operations.
